Anna Ong Lee (Ong Gum Ping) In San Francisco, January 23, 2008 at the age
of 86. Predeceased by her devoted husband of 62 years, Stephen C. Lee.
Beloved mother of Lucinda (Norm Katz), Sophie (Doug Wong), Shirley (Victor
Yee), and Ken; grandmother to Katricia (Niem), Karsten, Shira, David,
Kevin, Ryan, and Stephanie; great grandmother to Lucas and Kailen; sister
to Helen Chong, the late Hazel Lee, and the late Harry Ong Sr. Also
survived by many relatives and friends. Born in Akron, OH, to parents, Gim
Gee Ong and Ong Wai, Anna was raised in China, and returned to America at
age 15. She attended Lowell High School, married Stephen in 1946 and
raised her family for the next 60 years. Friends and relatives are invited
to attend a Wake on Sat., Jan. 26, 4-5pm and Funeral Services on Sun.,
Jan. 27, 11am at Green Street Mortuary, 649 Green St., SF. Interment at
Hoy Sun Memorial Park. Flowers can be sent to Green Street Mortuary.
